Shaya Jewelry founder, Edmon Shaya, was raised in Amman, Jordan where he started working in the jewelry industry at a young age. His growing knowledge of jewelry inspired him to create a better product and his vast knowledge of it enabled him to be able to make almost any piece.
For Edmon, creating jewelry is an intimate process. He believes there is value in creating something handmade. Before deciding on materials - beads, chains or charms - he thinks about how a design will be used and where it will be worn.
He knows that a handmade object carries within it the energy of the maker and inspires the soul. He creates out of desire, need and passion and as a way to connect and inspire.

After years of practice, Edmon has found that simplicity yields the most elegant results. Traveling around the globe, he has studied various techniques and designs that have helped him cultivate a singular yet international style. He still makes time to learn new techniques and exhibits at tradeshows all around the world.
